Raised in eastern Kentucky, Annette Allen grew up listening to her mother and grandfather sing mountain folk and gospel songs, in the old timey tradition.  In the song, "One More Song" you will hear a true account of her mother's life.  "Grandpa's Melody"  tells the story of her grandfather taking his chair out on the porch and singing to the mountain (after visiting the cellar to take a nip of moonshine).   Born into a family of storytellers and ballad singers, Annette's roots are anchored deep in the mountains of Kentucky.  She and her husband, Don, travel throughout the midwest sharing her stories and songs
